Disclosure Policy

The purpose of ILCouponClippers is to help you be a wise steward of your money. By sharing money-saving ideas and encouragement, personal stories, deals, printable coupons, recipes and more, I hope to help inspire and equip you to become a better home economist — and to enjoy doing so!
At the same time, I believe that it’s perfectly okay for me to be paid for the time and effort put into this blog. I have a number of costs associated with running a blog of this size — server space, tech help and more. So sometimes when you print a coupon, download a free ebook or sign up for a freebie, I’m earning a small kickback from the manufacturer. I also accept paid advertising on my blog’s sidebar and use affiliate links on deal posts when they are available.
However, because my integrity is much more important than making a quick buck, I always seek to have your best interests in mind first and foremost. If it doesn’t benefit you, I won’t post it — no matter how much someone is willing to pay me to do so. In addition, I do not charge for giveaways and I will not run sponsored posts as I will not post content that someone else has paid me to post.
On occasion, I do accept opportunities to write an underwritten post or series. However, you can rest assured that I will only accept this type of of opportunity when it is a post or series which will help you first, the topic(s) fits well within the parameters of my blog and I’m not asked to include specific content in my posts. This is just my own personal policy so that you can know that you are getting authenticity when you read my blog.
My readers are my first priority. I want you to be able to trust wholeheartedly that the content you find on ILCouponClippers is not influenced by money. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are solely mine and I do my best to always be honest and forthright in what I share.
If you ever have questions or concerns, please drop me an email. I can’t please everyone, but I want to live with integrity so I always welcome your input and constructive criticism.
