Most people consider this time consuming but your favorite brands appreciate hearing from loyal customers and some may even reward you for your loyalty. I write companies to provide feedback on products whether in the form of a compliment or complaint. I generally start my complaint by telling the companies what I like about their products and what I made me disappointed in its performance. Many brands stand by their quality and will replace the product for free (I am not encouraging anyone to lie in order to receive free products but I encourage you to provide feedback).
