We have included the coupon policy for the Jewel-Osco stores below. Please be aware that the final decision on if a coupon is accepted or not is up to the store director/managers. Jewel - Manufacturer Coupons

Details: Manufacturer Coupons:  Coupons issued by the manufacturer containing terms of agreement will be redeemed for the face value, following purchase requirements on or before the expiration date. Jewel-Osco may issue coupons that are manufacturer coupons that contain the words redeemable only at Jewel-Osco.


Jewel - Store Coupons

Details: Store Coupons:  Companys discount offers in various forms of media including, but not limited to, print, electronic, newspaper, direct mailers, kiosks and Company websites. Store coupons may also contain the words redeemable only at Jewel-Osco. Store coupons may state that the discount applies only with Preferred Card. When redeeming a store coupon the terms printed on the coupon must be adhered to. Expired store coupons will not be accepted.

Jewel - Can Manufacturer Coupons be Combined with Store Coupons?

Details: Yes; limit of 1 mfg coupon and 1 store coupon per item, not to exceed the value of the item (no cash back).


Jewel - Catalina Checkout Coupons / Rebates

Details: Catalina Checkout Coupons/Rebates:

 Catalina is a third party vendor that partners with vendors and Jewel-Osco to offer both manufacturer coupons and Jewel-Osco in-store coupons. The coupons are triggered by purchasing qualified items at checkout which generate a coupon to print on the Catalina printer. It is Jewel-Oscos policy that these coupons are to be used in a future purchase, not within the purchase in which they are generated. Catalina coupons can only be given to the customer for whom they were intended (not to any other customer or associate). If a customer does not want their Catalina coupons, it is Jewel-Oscos policy that the cashier destroys them immediately. Catalina may be contacted at 1-888-826-8766 for any questions about redemption and\or if a coupon fails to print within a transaction. Jewel-Osco will accept Catalina Manufacturer coupons printed by a competitor. Coupon must state Manufacturer Coupon and will be honored following manufacturer guidelines. Jewel-Osco will NOT accept competitor Catalina Store coupons.


Jewel - Internet Coupons


Details: Internet Coupons:  Coupons printed from an Internet website presented for redemption with a qualifying purchase. Coupons  are accepted with the exceptions of those meeting the conditions below:
Jewel-Osco DOES NOT accept Internet coupons containing the following conditions:


Free product offers that do not require a purchase
Redemption value exceeding $5.00
Absence of UPC bar code 
Photocopied Internet coupons. Most Internet sites will print a time and date stamp on the coupons, and limit each ISP address to two coupons total. If multiple coupon have the same time and date stamp this could be an indicator the coupon was photocopied, and should not be accepted. This is not a policy of the store but rather a means to prevent coupon fraud.

Jewel - Competitor 'Own Brand' Coupons

Details: Competitor Own Brand Coupons:  are other retailers company discount offers. Jewel-Osco will redeem competitor Own Brand coupons on comparable (size) Jewel-Osco Own Brand merchandise purchased at the face value of the coupon within the valid dates of that coupon. (I.e. $.50 coupon for Dominicks brand 16 oz loaf of bread may be redeemed when a 16oz loaf of Jewel bread is purchased.) Competitor Own Brand coupons may not be doubled or tripled and may not be used with a Jewel store coupon. Customers may choose between offers (Jewel or Competitors Own Brand) to receive the best price as long as the value of the product is not exceeded. It is Jewels policy for cashiers to abide by the competitor Own Brand coupon rules. Competitors store coupons for National Brand items are NOT redeemable at Jewel. (I.e. $1.00 off Kraft Cheese).


Jewel - Expired Coupons

Details: Beginning May 01, 2009, Jewel-Osco will no longer accept Expired Coupons.  This will keep us in compliance with the redemption guidelines set by Coupon Manufacturers.
