Cooker's Red Hots

This was my amazing find last year. Cookers is located in the same strip mall as the DMV in Deerfield, IL and is an amazing value.  I have yet to be disappointed!  Their char-dog is amazing, I think it is better than some of the more popular places in IL famous for hot dogs.  I also love their gyro meal which can easily serve two people or make two to three meals for one person depending on his or her appetite.  This place is actually cheaper than McDonald's.  Two persons can eat well for less than $15 dollars.

If you are ever in Deerfield and looking for a quick bite which is both cheap and good, Cookers is the best place to eat.

Himalayan Restaurant - Niles Lunch Buffet

This is my absolutely favorite Indian lunch buffet.  The food is good and they cater to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.  The food is made mild to cater to diverse clientele.  I love the variety of the food and also there is always a desert.  If you do decide to go and try their buffet you should also like the Mango Lassi (not included in the buffet price) but a lovely drink.  The buffet is $9.95 per person.  When you go please come back and leave a comment on the food and service.  I have included the link below so you can review their site.  This restaurant does have at least two additional locations.

I love Catalina coupons.  It is an extra reward for making a purchase.  These coupons print at checkout to use towards your next purchase.  I count the Catalina rewards I receive as a discount on the purchase price.  Please review the information below for more details:

Catalina Category Marketing (CCM) rewards purchases of promoted products with “catalinas”, also known as “check-out coupons”. These offer incentives good on your next shopping trip to that retailer. There is usually a 4-week window on any given program/incentive promotion.

Because catalinas can most often be redeemed only at the store chain where they were awarded or printed, catalina offers are posted under the specific store links.

Generally, they are manufacturer's coupons, although occasionally one will state that it is a Store Coupon. The manufacturer's coupon catalinas are not able to be combined with other manufacturer's coupons.

Groupon

Groupon is another site were you can find local deals or deals to make your vacation tolerable.  The best part about Groupon is that most deals are good for three to six months after purchase.  I am currently using Groupon to find the best deal in IL and also for my vacation in March.  So far, I have figured out how much it will cost for my husband and I to eat for five days of our east coast trip.  If you are looking for cheap dining options, gym membership and spa services I would suggest that you check Groupon.

Manufacturer and Store Coupons:

1. We will redeem coupons only for the specific items included in our customer's purchase transaction. The redemption value will be as stated on the coupon, unless that value yields a final price for such item less than zero; if application of the redemption value yields a price less than zero, the coupon will be redeemed only for the amount that yields a zero price (our customer cannot net a cash credit or payout from a coupon purchase).

2. Paper coupons must be presented at the time of the purchase transaction. We will accept only coupons issued by Dominick's or the manufacturer of the relevant product. We will not accept photocopies of coupons.

3. Coupons are subject to advertised offer limitations and all other limitations and restrictions on the applicable coupon or product.

4. Coupons may not be applied against any free item received in any offer.

5. Coupons have no cash value.

6. Dominick's will not accept manufacturer coupons (including, but not limited to, coupons issued through a Catalina or other in-store coupon dispenser) that display another retailer's logo or name unless such coupon is for a specific item with the same product identifiers as the product included in our customer's purchase transaction.

7. We will not accept coupons unless they have an expiration date.

8. We will not accept coupons that, in the determination of Dominick's personnel, appear distorted or blurry or are altered in any way.

9. Sales taxes will be applied in accordance with the law of the applicable state, regardless of any coupon or other discount that may apply to the purchase transaction.

As an example (and not as an offer), if a $10 minimum purchase is required for a customer reward, a customer's order at full retail would be $12, a Fresh Value Card discount of $1.75 applies, and a manufacturer's coupon of $1 applies, the customer would be given credit for a $10.25 purchase, and would be eligible for the reward (assuming compliance with all other requirements) even though the customer's cash payment would be only $9.25. Internet Printed Coupons:
14. We gladly accept internet printed coupons. The same manufacturer and store coupon rules above apply to all internet printed coupons.

15. Internet printed coupons must be capable of scanning at checkout.

16. Internet printed coupons must have serial numbers and must follow an industry-standard format.

17. Manufacturer internet printed coupons must clearly indicate that they are a manufacturer coupon and must have a valid manufacture address on the printed coupon.

Load to Card Club Coupons:
19. Doubling of Coupons:
20. Check with your local store regarding ‘double coupon' advertised promotions where customers will receive double the coupon face value off the regular or Fresh Value Card price up to the advertised limit. Coupon Stacking:
21. Dominick's does not allow a customer to redeem two or more manufacturer coupons against the same item in a single transaction.

22. Coupon stacking policies for manufacturer coupons apply to paper and electronic coupons that have been loaded to a Fresh Value Card.

23. If a customer presents two coupons for the same item in a single transaction, Dominick's will give the highest discount for that item, subject to the terms of the applicable offer and/or coupon.

Rainchecks:
24. Rainchecks expire ninety (90) days from the date issued and will not be accepted at any Dominick's store after that time.

25. We reserve the right to limit Raincheck quantities based on product availability and advertised limits.

26. Rainchecks can be issued for up to six (6) items unless otherwise stated in the applicable advertisement.

27. Rainchecks can be issued for all items, excluding Beer, Wine, Spirits, Tobacco Products, Fuel, All Fluid Items in the Refrigerated Dairy Section (including Fluid Dairy and Dairy Substitutes), which exclusions may vary from state to state.

It is Jewel-Oscos policy that these coupons are to be used in a future purchase, not within the purchase in which they are generated. Jewel - Internet Coupons


Details: Internet Coupons:  Coupons printed from an Internet website presented for redemption with a qualifying purchase. Coupons  are accepted with the exceptions of those meeting the conditions below:
Jewel-Osco DOES NOT accept Internet coupons containing the following conditions:


Free product offers that do not require a purchase
Redemption value exceeding $5.00
Absence of UPC bar code 
Photocopied Internet coupons. Most Internet sites will print a time and date stamp on the coupons, and limit each ISP address to two coupons total. If multiple coupon have the same time and date stamp this could be an indicator the coupon was photocopied, and should not be accepted. This is not a policy of the store but rather a means to prevent coupon fraud.

Jewel - Competitor 'Own Brand' Coupons

Details: Competitor Own Brand Coupons:  are other retailers company discount offers. Jewel-Osco will redeem competitor Own Brand coupons on comparable (size) Jewel-Osco Own Brand merchandise purchased at the face value of the coupon within the valid dates of that coupon. (I.e. $.50 coupon for Dominicks brand 16 oz loaf of bread may be redeemed when a 16oz loaf of Jewel bread is purchased.) Competitor Own Brand coupons may not be doubled or tripled and may not be used with a Jewel store coupon. Customers may choose between offers (Jewel or Competitors Own Brand) to receive the best price as long as the value of the product is not exceeded. It is Jewels policy for cashiers to abide by the competitor Own Brand coupon rules. Competitors store coupons for National Brand items are NOT redeemable at Jewel. (I.e. $1.00 off Kraft Cheese).
